The Venezuelan Football Association, Associacion FutVe, has become the first South American Soccer Association to sign up to GotSoccerPro.
Asociacion FutVe will use GotSoccer’s state of the art GotSoccerPro software to not only schedule their Primera Division games for the 2017-2018 season, but also their second division games, as well as all their national youth leagues.
“This is an exciting partnership for GotSoccer ” said GotSoccer CEO, Gavin Owen-Thomas. “We already work with a couple of leagues in Central America, so to now sign a deal with a major league in South America is great news.”
Associacion FutVe joins the Scottish Premier League, the Polish Ekstraklasa, the Welsh Premier League, Costa Rican Unión de Clubes de Fútbol de la Primera División (UNAFUT), the Honduran National Professional Football League, The Romanian Premier League and The US Development Academy, who are all using GotSoccerPro to create their schedules for the 2017-2018 season.
Born out of collaboration with the Major League Soccer (MLS) to build a professional scheduling program, GotSoccerPro allows leagues to tackle the complex task of producing a professional schedule and create the best schedule possible using linear optimisation – a method to achieve the best outcome (such as maximum profit or lowest cost) in a mathematical model whose requirements are represented by linear relationships.
The state of the art GotSoccerPro software lets leagues input all their constraints and rules to create multiple versions of a season schedule allowing them to create more complex schedules and select the best version to meet all their needs, benefiting a league’s clubs, players and fans.
As well as generating the best schedule possible, GotSoccerPro also offers a range of innovative tools to help professional leagues, such as a fully integrated professional referee assigning system, a Schedule Comparison Tool, as well as a whole range of report tools.
Association FutVe was formed two years ago with the aim to modernize Venezuelan soccer and that is precisely why they have joined GotSoccerPro, as they believe the system will not only modernise the way they create their schedule, but will also help to boost their marketing and branding efforts.
